The real reason why you procrastinate on your personal band
Unlock your creator business in 2024 🎉
"Man I'm so fucking tired of this"
Is what I thought on a Sunday morning, sitting at my desk, forcing myself to write another post for social media.
"You know what…? I'll do it tomorrow"
Only 2 years ago I was:
Struggling to show up every day
Seeing everyone grow faster than me
Seriously doubting whether I could make it work
I got so overwhelmed that my face would get red hot due to confusion lol… I was ready to punch anything that moved.
But here's what I didn't realize:
I had no purpose.
You see… most people think purpose is this "woo-woo" thing.
They think it has no practical use.
But ohhhh boy, they couldn't be more wrong.
First of all, when you have no reason to get out of bed, you don't (lmfao).
You think:
"Is this even worth it?"
"Why am I even doing this?"
"Could I be spending my time on something else?"
Because you don't understand where the task will lead you, or why it's so crucial to perform it in the first place.
Second of all, having a "life purpose" affects you on a biological level.
It alters the brain.
Protects against depression & negative self-talk
Boosts your motivation, productivity, resilience, and focus
Lowers incidents of stroke, dementia, and cardiovascular disease
This is how you stop procrastinating on your personal brand.
But there's one final reason:
It positions you as a leader and gives people a reason to support your brand online.
Without a mission, you expect support out of kindness.
Because you see… purpose, at its basic level:
‣ Is one massive problem
‣ That positively impacts humanity
‣ In a way you find meaning in solving
And a personal brand is simply a vessel to solve problems.
People support people who want to make a positive change in the world.
By defining your purpose, using it as the core of your brand, then making it your full-time focus… you get ALL the benefits above on a consistent 24/7 basis.
This is how you merge personal growth with brand growth.
It's how you make money while enjoying life.
It's also how you impact the world.
This is the core of the Impact Creator's approach to life.
The Impact Creator doesn't just create content.
He creates a movement.
Urban used this to go from knowing NOTHING about branding to having one of the most unique brands on X (that consistently gets 20-30+ comments per post).
He used his purpose as the foundation of his:
Unique visual style
Unique writing style
Unique selling style
And just 2 weeks ago he closed his first $300 client.
And he's about to close another.
All in a way that he LOVES.
There are 4 phases you can use to do the same:
1) The Foundational Phase
The hardest part about attracting thousands of qualified leads/followers with your personal brand is crafting a unique positioning that gets you to stand out from the generic masses.
So the first thing you should do is find the impact you want to make with your skills, then craft a vision that positions you as a true thought-leader.
You do this by defining:
Your niche
Your 10 core values
Your brand and life's purpose
This guarantees you take the unconventional path. Giving you the firepower (through unique positioning) to get people to convert into followers, become true fans, and buy all the future offers you make.
2) The Development Phase
Most people think they know how to write, but they don’t.
In this phase you want to double down on writing short and long form content that rallies people to your brand.
Analyze performing posts
Write consistently for 1h+ a day
Ask for constructive criticism from more advanced writers
Then use the data to create a strategy that leverages your unique positioning from phase 1 to establish your authority and attract an audience that cares about what you say.
Frame everything you write under the angle of this unique positioning.
This is how you get people to remember you.
Then onto phase 3:
3) The Signal Scaling Phase
In this phase you want to analyze the data to get clear on what works vs what doesn’t. Then create a content plan so you never run out of good performing ideas for your posts. You’ll be able to scale your followers seamlessly, all while enjoying your time.
Ideally, you want to keep asking for constructive criticism at this point, I'd recommend joining a community of people to share your writing with.
Then onto phase 4:
4) The Automation & Improvement Phase
Finally, double down on the best ideas and data from the past 3 stages to build a lead magnet and newsletter.
What ideas worked best?
What positioning worked over & over?
What problems does your audience face the most?
This is where you want to massively improve your writing and start using some more in-depth storytelling techniques. It's also where you can pack up everything you've learned over the past 3 stages and build an offer around what worked best.
This is how you build a brand using your purpose and vision as the foundation.
It's a lot of work.
And it's definitely not a get rich quick scheme.
Or an "attract 10k followers in 10 days" scheme.
But it gets results. It allows you to make a living in a meaningful way. And it gives you motivation, discipline, and self-trust.
If you want the simplest way to get this done alongside like-minded individuals to keep you accountable, Impact Creator Academy is launching next week.
Weekly group writing calls
Q&A's and writing shreds
Accountability groups
It hosts every single system and process you need to define your unique mission and positioning, then write high-performing content that attracts thousands of readers online.
The exact systems I use daily to get 40-60+ comments per post.
The exact systems Savas used to get 20M impressions in a week.
The exact systems 50+ members used in our previous community.
These have been tested and improved over & over for the past 15 months. They work. No matter what.
And you'll be able to get all this + a community of like-minded creators + private access to Me and Savas (for less than the price of a cup of coffee a day).
Anyway…
You'll get more info on this soon :)
Thanks for reading!
As usual — I love you,
